Mr. Yassini is a highly accomplished visionary leadership with 20 plus years of experience in both technical and managerial fields related to the Engineering, Information Technology and Scientific fields as well as in areas of advanced technology life cycle product development, strategic planning, procurements, acquisitions, contracting, and business development with startup Aerospace Company (VTOL UAV & VTOL PAV), government organization NASA (HEDS, Space Science, Aeronautics), and The Boeing Company (777, 737-200, 757, 747, SST)

He is currently serving as a Founder of AeroCopter, Inc.,and involved with invention of the Next Generation of VTOL Air Transportation Vehicle. His responsibilities include company mission, vision, VC funding/budget, long and short term strategic planning, business development, global product marketing, and product development life cycle from invention through design and construction of prototype scaled model for high speed mono-tilt-rotor Personal Air Vehicle and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle utilizing revolutionary disruptive technologies. He is also a resident entrepreneur, advisor, and chief contracting officer of YAS Ventures LLC. Prior to his involvement with AeroCopter, Inc. he served as a Deputy Division Chief of NASA Ames Information Sciences and Technology, Systems Independent Verification and Validation facility. He provided strategic planning, business development, personnel manager, procurement and acquisition, FY financing and budget, and oversight systems engineering and research programs applicable to NASA Space Programs to add an additional layer of safety and quality for each NASA Enterprises.

As a NASA program manager and senior design engineer, he led the mission planning, design and development of the guidance, navigation, and flight control systems, for the Space Shuttle missions STS-4 through STS-62. He led the independent assessment, criticality risk assessment, systems SW IV&V, and mission safety and QA for critical NASA programs such as the Space Shuttle, Space Station Freedom, Cassini and Mars spacecrafts, SOFIA, Boeing 757 display upgrade for FAA, Small Satellite Technology Initiatives (Clark), and Mission Control Center systems upgrades at NASA JSC and KSC.

Prior to his NASA space program experiences, he worked with the Boeing Company as a senior aircraft design engineer. He was involved with the conceptual configuration and preliminary design of Boeing 737-200, 757, 777, 747 Double lube body, and Super Sonic Transportation (SST).

He is the author of independent technical assessment reports on major NASA projects and published variety of papers at National/International conferences such as AIAA, AHS and AUVSI. He also holds US patent and has several patents pending.

He has received numerous NASA awards for his outstanding leadership, management and high-level contribution to the NASA space programs, including the "Exceptional Achievement Medal and Manned Flight Awareness Award". He received a BS in Aerospace Engineering from West Virginia University, MS in Engineering Management and a Ph.D. in Systems Engineering from Pacific Western University.
